FC Basle have shocked Manchester United to leave their Champions League hopes in limbo.
A late Michael Lang goal condemned United to defeat.
Raoul Petretta played a brilliant pass behind the United defence leaving Lang to tap home at the far post.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright says United should have done better with their possession.
He said, "We know going to Basel is a tough place to go, but United had enough possession and chances to win this game comfortably. Now, it's going to go down to the wire for them.
"Man United started with a slow build up, I'd have liked to see Pogba on the ball more, and with Lukaku holding it up, and bringing other players in. But they lacked intensity early on."
Former Manchester City defender Danny Mills says United paid for their lack of ambition.
"Manchester United will be very disappointed, they had all the chances in the first half," he said.
"Basel were positive, they had a go at Manchester United, they kept going and deserved their goal. United still only need a point at home in their final group game. It will be interesting to see what Mourinho has to say about this."
