Basel star Xherdan Shaqiri has taunted Manchester United over their Champions League exit.

Shaqiri, who has agreed to join Bayern Munich next season, says United were too cocky going into their game.

He said: "You could feel it in the tunnel before kick-off and even in the warm-up. They weren't fully focused and I'm not even sure a United player made even one sprint. Afterwards you couldn't even swap shirts - they were gone that quickly."

Basel beat Bayern in last night's Champions League clash.
