Andrea Barzagli insists he's never asked away from Palermo.

The defender, a target for Juventus, Inter Milan and Fiorentina, said: "I have a contract until 2010 and I have not ever asked to leave Palermo. I have only said to my president that, if an important offer arrived from a prestigious club, that he take into consideration the hypothesis of selling me.

"It's true there's still a long way to go in the summer market, but I do not want this issue to be hanging over me. I'd like things decided quickly so I can focus on preseason training."
