QPR are considering the future of Joey Barton after Sunday's meltdown at Manchester City.
The Sun says the R's have confirmed they will also launch an investigation into their skipper's actions following his dismissal in the 3-2 defeat at the Etihad which saw City clinch the Premier League title.
Barton, 29, was sent off for elbowing Carlos Tevez but later kneed Sergio Aguero and aimed a headbutt at Kompany after receiving his marching orders from referee Mike Dean.
It was Barton's second sending off of the campaign and he could be clobbered with a whopping NINE-match ban.
