Barton absence gives QPR's Ramsey captaincy headache

QPR boss Chris Ramsey is unsure who he will name captain for Wednesday night's clash with Arsenal.

The R's are without regular skipper Joey Barton following his red card in the 2-1 loss at Hull City on February 21 which is forcing Ramsey to carefully ponder his decision.

"I haven't selected a captain yet," said Ramsey. "I think there's one or two (who can captain the side).

"The senior players have impressed me, but the captaincy in football is not like it is in other sports. It's important to a point but it's about each individual doing their job."
