Barcelona president Josep María Bartomeu has declared they're cutting ties with FIFA.

Still fuming over their 2015 transfer ban, Bartomeu has announced that the Catalan club have cut ties with FIFA for the duration of their transfer ban.

"The relations with FIFA will continue when the sanction has finished."

Bartomeu says Barca will not have a representative at the Ballon d'Or gala, even though Lionel Messi is one of the three candidates for the Ballon d'Or and that he was the Golden Ball winner at the World Cup.

He also insists they will not change their work with La Masía.
