Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu admits they're seeking to land a new midfielder.

Bartomeu, who is standing for the July election, says they need to find a replacement for Al Sadd signing Xavi.

“The team needs some small changes, one is Aleix Vidal and the other, as Luis Enrique said, is a player with Xavi's profile.

"That said, there's no successor to Xavi.

"He can't be replaced, for the way he plays and for everything he represents. There'll never be another player like him."
