Gareth Barry says Aston Villa can take a lot from their scratchy victory over Sunderland on Saturday.

Barry told Villa's official website: "You see it year after year. The top teams, you look for their results after you have played and you just see them winning and winning.

"That's the mentality we have got at the moment, and we are trying to keep it and, even when, like Saturday, it is really tough, come away with three points."
