Gareth Barry insists anything is possible for Manchester City tonight against Champions League opponents Bayern Munich.

Despite the odds being stacked against the Blues - who need Villarreal to prevent Napoli from wining their final Group A game - Barry says City have to ensure victory or else the result from El Madrigal is meaningless.

"We can't worry too much about what's happening elsewhere," said the in-form England midfielder on City's website. "All we know is that if we win, we have a chance of going through.

"We have a job to do and we have to hope that Villarreal can do us a favour on the night.

"Bayern are a class act and we're not expecting them to roll over when they play us. We've played German sides in the past and they are very experienced and patient and we're expecting a really tough game.

"We will have our game-plan but Bayern are a very good counter-attacking side so if we are too gung-ho, they are a team who could punish us."
