Gareth Barry expects Aiden McGeady to return to Everton full of confidence.
McGeady struck for the Republic of Ireland in victory against Georgia.
"We have come in this morning [Monday] talking about the games from yesterday," Barry told evertonfc.com. "It was great to see Aiden McGeady score both goals in their win. It was a fantastic result for Ireland and it's always good to see the lads not only playing but scoring.
"It's something we have seen regularly in training from Aiden. He stuck one away against Leicester and it wasn't a surprise for him to produce a bit of magic like that. Hopefully that will be brought back here now.
"Games and goals like that bring confidence.
"Last season, he was a bit frustrated coming in in January and not being 100 per cent fit. But we have seen the best of him in pre-season and yesterday's result and finishes will help."
