Gareth Barry admits his "number one aim" is to win a trophy for Everton.

His hunger to keep achieving is not in question. It is why he has been around so long.

"It has been that long since this club last won a trophy, you want to be part of the next team to do that," he told the Daily Mail.

"This set of fans deserve it. That's the No 1 aim."
