Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry insists their FA Cup final defeat is a blip in their long-term plans.

Barry insisted the club's long-term ambitions remained intact.

He said: "We have had one of those days.

"It will make no difference to where this club wants to go.

"We have to learn from the season we have had and push on next season, raise it to another level.''
