Barnsley target Inverness boss Butcher

Championship Barnsley have approached Inverness Caledonian Thistle to talk to Terry Butcher about their managerial vacancy. BBC Radio Sheffield reports the Tykes have turned their attentions to the 54-year-old after being rejected by Sean O'Driscoll.

The former England skipper has been in charge at Inverness since January 2009.

Barnsley, who are currently bottom of the Championship, sacked Keith Hill on 29 December.
