Outstanding on-loan at Barnsley, winger Aaron Hammill wants the chance to prove himself at parent club, Liverpool.

"I'm a red through and through," Hammill told liverpoolfc.tv. "I signed a three-year deal with Liverpool in the summer so I've got two years when I go back. I think it shows their confidence in me.

"This is my third season out on loan in The Championship after playing for Blackpool and Southampton - it's definitely another step in the right direction.

"I've played 70 Championship games but my dream is to play in front of the Kop.

"If that doesn't happen then I'll knuckle down wherever I go."
