Barnsley have refused to do business with Everton over John Stones' sell-on clause.

The Daily Star Sunday says Everton contacted Barnsley to negotiate a deal over the 15 per-cent sell-on agreement inserted when Stones signed in 2013 for £3m.

The Toffees wanted to buy-out seven percent but Barnsley rejected their offer.

Barnsley would be due £5.7million of £38m.
