Championship club Barnsley are believed to be set to make an ambitious move for Egyptian striker Mido.
Sky Sports suggests that the 29-year old, who is a free agent after leaving Zamalek, has emerged as a key transfer target for the Tykes who are hoping to lure him to Oakwell.
During his career, Mido has played for such clubs as Gent, Ajax, Marseille, Roma, Tottenham, Middlesbrough, West Ham United and Wigan Athletic.
