Barnsley have announced Liverpool fullback Ryan McLaughlin will stay to the end of the season.

McLaughlin linked up with Barnsley on loan at the start of the month, and he will now see out the season at Oakwell.

McLaughlin is a Northern Ireland youth international who signed in at the Academy in the summer of 2011.

The full-back is a determined competitor and a stylish attacker who has represented his country at U16, U17, U18 and U21 level.
