Barnsley are extending the loan deals for Stoke City pair Ryan Shotton and Carl Dickinson to the end of the season.
Centre-half Shotton and full-back Dickinson have spent the last three months at Oakwell, but both initial deals expired on Boxing Day.
The Potters duo will miss Barnsley's home clash with Middlesbrough on Monday before extending their respective deals when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Shotton, 21, and Dickinson, 22, have both been virtual ever-presents in Tykes manager Mark Robins' starting line-up since arriving at Oakwell in September.
