Barnsley are pushing to extend the deal for Manchester United midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

Drinkwater has impressed on-loan at Oakwell this season.

Barnsley have confirmed on their official site that talks over extending Drinkwater's loan are at an "advanced stage" with an announcement expected before the end of the day.
