Championship club Barnsley have secured the services of Egyptian striker Mido.
The Tykes have signed the former Tottenham and Middlesbrough man on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
Mido joins as a free agent after leaving homeland club Zamalek recently and is considered to be a major coup for the Oakwell club.
During his career, journeyman Mido has also played with Gent, Ajax, Celta Vigo, Marseille, Roma, Wigan Athletic and West Ham United.
