Barnsley chairman Gordon Shepherd has warned Premiership clubs off their best players.

Skipper Brian Howard has been linked with Everton, but Shepherd said: "When the January transfer window opens we'll have to wait and see what happens, but we have no intention of selling anyone.

"We're doing okay."
