Barnsley boss Danny Wilson has likened Manchester City striker Devante Cole to his father, Andrew.
Cole is on-loan at Oakwell and already off the mark for the Tykes.
"I'm sure he's got ambitions to play at the highest level like his father, but you've got to start somewhere," Wilson told the Sheffield Telegraph.
"If this is the start of his great career, then we're only more than happy to give him that start.
"He's got that pace to get down the back of defenders and shows a lot of brightness. He's very similar to his father.
"If he gets a quarter of the goals his dad got in his career then he'll be happy.
"He offers us a great deal. He's still very much in the development side of his career but scoring on his league debut will give him great confidence."
