Barnsley boss David Flitcroft admits they couldn't cope with Carlos Tevez in defeat to FA Cup opponents Manchester City.

Tevez struck a hat-trick in the 5-0 win.

"It is his power," said Flitcroft. "It is his explosion and movement. It is incredible.

"He is a ghost. We talked about getting close to him in the box but the players said he just pulls off defenders.

"Every shot is on target. He is brilliant."
