Liverpool winger Ryan Kent is likely to be sent out on loan this summer.
Despite manager Jurgen Klopp indicating he wanted to keep all of his talented youngsters around the first team this season, the Liverpool Echo is reporting that Kent could be on his way out in a bid to further his development.
It is understood that Barnsley have firmed as a potential temporary home for Kent, 19, who has impressed during pre-season thus far.
The teenager had a beneficial stint with Coventry City last term and according to Reds academy coach Michael Beale, another spell away from Anfield will only improve his game even more so.
"A loan for Ryan would be really important, you can see he's got lots of talent, you've seen that in the four games for the first team," Beale told the Echo after Sunday's U21s win over Rhyl FC.
Also believed to be in line for a loan away from Liverpool are centre-back Lloyd Jones, who spent time with Blackpool in 2015/16, and forward Jack Dunn.
