Barnet have turned down a bid from Swansea City for striker Matt Stevens.

The Daily Mail says Swansea have had a £250,000 offer for teenage Barnet striker Stevens rejected.

Garry Monk has been impressed by the 17-year-old who has scored more than 50 goals for Barnet's Under 18 side this season.

Stevens was released by Reading last summer despite scoring 32 goals for their Under 16s but Barnet manager Martin Allen snapped him up.
