Barnet player-boss Edgar Davids sees red

Barnet player-manager Edgar Davids has seen red in Conference action.

The former Tottenham, Barcelona and Juventus star was sent off for striking after a heated exchange in the dying moments of their Conference Premier clash with Wrexham.

Wrexham's Stephen Wright, who wore Davids' elbow on his face while trying to wrestle the ball from the former Juventus and Barcelona star, was also shown a red card in the same altercation on the edge of the Barnet penalty area.

Once the dust had settled, Dean Keates then scored from the resulting free-kick to make it 1-1 with an impressive curling effort over the wall to cancel out Anthony Acheampong's seventh minute strike.
