Giles Barnes admits it was a pleasure to play alongside Ricardo Clark in Houston Dynamo's return to winning form on the weekend.
The Texan club defeated Philadelphia Union 1-0, thanks to Clark's 53rd minute goal, for their first triumph in five outings.
Clark's first match since August 17 allowed Barnes to play closer to goal and the English winger was delighted with how it turned out.
"I think having Ricardo back brings a different kind of athleticism into the team," Barnes said of the former Eintracht Frankfurt man.
The victory allowed the Dynamo to move to fourth place on the Eastern Conference table ahead of this weekend's visit from the West's bottom side Chivas USA.
