Hull City midfielder Nicky Barmby has called on teammates to play without fear against Liverpool this weekend.

"If you play with fear in this league then you will get turned over," Barmby told the Hull Daily Mail.

"Most teams in this division don't want to play against teams with no fear because it's not easy against an opponent who's in your face.

"Against a team like Liverpool, you can't sit back and admire what great players they are because that's when you get blown away.

"We got a great point at Anfield because we went there and got in their faces.

"This is the biggest challenge yet for this club and it's one where we have to stand up and be counted."
