Ross Barkley has agreed terms over a new deal with Everton.
The Mail on Sunday says Everton have protected their interests in Barkley by getting the England starlet to agree a new deal.
The club hope Barkley will rubber-stamp a new contract, pushing his wages towards the £50,000-a-week mark with increments, before Christmas.
