Ross Barkley was delighted to score his first senior goal for Everton in victory over Newcastle United.

While Barkley celebrated accordingly at the time, his mother Diane predicted the goal.

"I knew it was coming," Barkley said. "My mum said before the game she had a feeling I'd score and I'm made up she was right. I was over the moon because I've dreamt about that moment since I was a kid."
