Bari president Vincenzo Matarrese remains hopeful of signing Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco.
Giovinco wants to leave Juve this summer.
"If Giovinco were to arrive, he would be more than welcome. We would be happy," Matarrese said.
"Conversely, we wouldn't make a drama out of it. The team is already complete. He can only play for Bari if Juventus are prepared to send him on loan.
"We can't afford to go crazy."
When asked if Bari would balk at Giovinco's wage demands, Matarrese said: "We also have other players on 1m a year, but this is a different argument.
"If he elevates the quality of the team and creates enthusiasm among the fans, spending of this nature can be supported."
