Bari defender Leonardo Bonucci has welcomed interest from Manchester City.

The Italy U21 international is a £6 million target for City boss Roberto Mancini.

"It is certainly pleasing to know of interest from a club like Manchester City," Bonucci told Sky Sport Italia. "I also made my debut in the Inter first team when Mancini was on the bench, he promoted me from the youth squad.

"In any case, I play for Bari and remain concentrated on Bari."
