Bari boss Antonio Conte was attacked by Lecce fans on Sunday.

The former Juventus midfielder spent Sunday afternoon on a beach near Lecce and played a game of five-a-side football but a group of thugs gathered and attacked him.

After Conte had been punched in the face several times, a number of witnesses and bystanders gathered and a few people jumped in to defend him.

The police are currently investigating the incident and are hoping to make arrests shortly.
