Franco Baresi insists everything is on-track at AC Milan.
"It is human to cross less happier moments, but I think there is time to recover," said Baresi. "I've asked Paolo Maldini how he finds the motivation to keep playing at almost 40 years of age and he said that he's enjoying the game more than ever.
"Over all these years, Carlo Ancelotti has done very well and will continue to do so for many years.
"The Ballon d'Or is given to players who have done well and this season Kaka has been extraordinary. I have not won it, but once came second behind Marco van Basten. It was like having won it because the Dutchman was unique. "
Baresi added: "Who would I like to see at Milan? Today, I look at Lionel Messi (Barcelona), he plays at incredible speed and ease. He's young and does lift the fans."
