New Inter Milan assistant coach Beppe Baresi is excited about the prospect of working with Jose Mourinho.

"I have only met him for five minutes. He is a personality, a different tactician in the way he introduced himself and the ideas that he has," explained Baresi, a former Nerazzurri defender.

It was an unexpected pairing on the bench, as Baresi is the only member of the staff not brought in from Mourinho's usual circle.

"In choosing an assistant manager from within the club, it was a sign of his attachment to Inter. He also showed that he is interested in the support of someone who knows the dynamics of the Inter environment."
