Stoke City fullback Phil Bardsley is determined to earn a first home victory of the season against Leicester City today.
He says the players are still smarting after their opening-day defeat against Aston Villa and have waited impatiently for a chance to put the record straight.
"Home form is vital and the opening day was disappointing for us," Bardsley told The Sentinel.
"Even though we tried to play the right way, it just didn't happen for us on the day.
"It's up to us as a team to win these games and it's obviously important to get points on the board at home because it drives you on and gives you confidence."
