Sunderland fullback Phil Bardsley says everyone at the club are thrilled for Fraizer Campbell over his FA Cup goal against Middlesbrough.
The defender echoed the thoughts of the entire Sunderland squad when he paid tribute to the resilient frontman post-match.
"He has never had a smile off his face no matter how many setbacks he's had. Fair play to him and his family.
"Fraizer got a great welcome from the crowd today and has worked so hard to get to where he is."
He added: "He deserved his opportunity and grabbed it with both hands. He's a sharp boy who epitomises a professional footballer in terms of how hard he works.
