Barcelona's Rijkaard grateful for Ronaldinho's ice-cool penalty

Zaragoza striker Ricardo Oliveira had equalised Thierry Henry's opener for Barca before Ronaldinho beat Zaragoza keeper Cesar from the spot with an effort eight minutes from time.

"The importance is that we fulfilled our work," said Barca coach Frank Rijkaard afterwards. "It was a game that was very hard and open. Zaragoza played the second-half very well.

"It is true we've cut the gap at the top, but always I say that it is not important to watch only Madrid, but mainly to focus on ourselves.

"It is good for us to see Ronaldinho score. He had cold blood to take that penalty and soon after he created a great chance. Hopefully he continues like this and is able to do more.

"If the referee believes it was a penalty, then that's good enough for me."
