Barcelona defender Gerard Pique admits he sees this weekend's derby against Espanyol as a bigger game than playing Real Madrid.

"I'm more motivated playing against Espanyol, especially at home, than against Real Madrid. Perhaps it is because when I was in the juniors at Barca, almost always we played against Espanyol," said former Manchester United defender Pique.

"These are the matches you enjoy ... at least I do."
