Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta says he goes into the Euros in good shape.
Spain face Italy tonight in their Euros opener.
"The win at Euro 2008 gave us a lot of stability, which in turn helped us to win the World Cup," said the midfielder, remembering they beat Italy on penalties in the quarter-finals of that tournament.
"It will be difficult to get to the Final again, but we aren't even thinking about that. We aren't thinking about anything other than this game against Italy.
"I feel ready to play, as in the previous tournaments I had problems before the opening games, but now I feel good."
