Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has snapped back at Real Madrid defender Pepe.

Pepe branded Iniesta and his Barca teammates as "actors" after the midfielder's attempt to win a penalty during Sunday's El Clasico.

"Yes it affects me what he said. A person may have an opinion and say no penalty, but he cannot go further. When someone speaks about you and your colleagues in those terms, one is offended. I'm not an actor.

"Neither I nor my colleagues.

"Looking at Pepe's actions in games, we would have a lot of opinions about him. Yeah it hurts, it hurts because it relates to you and you should not value it. We already know what Pepe is about."
