Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has made a 'come and get me' plea to Roma.

After Roma moved to deny reports last week that they'd tabled a major offer for Eto'o, the want-away forward said: "Yes, I'd like to play for Roma. But I am staying calm."

For his part, Roma coach Luciano Spalletti admitted: "Eto'o cannot be signed because he costs too much."
