The agent of Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o has struck personal terms with Inter Milan. Marca says after an hour-long meeting in Milan, Jose Maria Mesalles shook hands on a five-year contract with Inter officials worth £9 million-a-season.

The agreement opens the door for Barca to open serious negotiations with Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in order to complete the sensational swap.

Alex Hleb, the Barca midfielder, is set to be added to Barca's offer, which will officially be the Belarussian, Eto'o and £35 million for Ibrahimovic.
