Barcelona defender Edmilson admits he came close to joining AC Milan in the summer.

The Brazil international is off contract in June and currently recovering from a knee injury. He said: "There was a real chance of joining Milan.

"But things became hazy because I was injured. I am coming off contract and haven't spoken with the leadership about my situation. If there's no news, then I will leave."
