Barcelona no longer are worried about Real Madrid, says fullback Daniel Alves. Saturday's victory has Barca 12 points clear of their great rivals and Alves insists: "Real Madrid no longer is the benchmark.

"Now we have to worry about Sevilla, Valencia and Villarreal. But if we keep doing things right, we should not be caught by anyone."

Alves almost signed for Real in the summer and added: "I came close to Real, but it wasn't clear what they wanted. As soon as I spoke with Barca, I knew what I wanted to do.

"Where else can you enjoy your football like this?"
