Graham Hunter believes Aston Villa supporters will go wild for Adama Traore.
The 19-year-old Barcelona forward is reportedly on the verge of joining the Premier League club and Spanish football expert Hunter suggests it would be an enormous coup for the Villa faithful if manager Tim Sherwood could land such a talented player.
"He has the potential to become an exceptional player," Hunter told Sky Sports News HQ.
"He is the kind of player which explain why people buy season tickets and why Sky have invested in the Premier League again. Okay, he's not English, he's from Spain and was born in Barcelona, but he's frighteningly exciting.
"If Villa pull this deal off, the Villa fans will be ecstatic with the board and Sherwood.
"He is a player who can be something of a remedy over the duration of his contract, should he sign a three-year deal, because not only have Villa fans struggled with relegation but they haven't had enough excitement or the brand of football they want. Adama represents that in 24-carat ways.
"He is a beautiful talent and it is very exciting if he goes to Villa Park."
Traore, who spent most of last season with Barcelona B in Spain's Segunda Division, is expected to complete a reported £7million move to Villa Park on Thursday.
