"We will continue fighting," said Rijkaard, who was at least rewarded by teenager Bojan Krkic, who struck after being given another start by the Dutchman. "We have had a difficult game and when they equalised it was a very hard psychological blow for the team.
"But we are not going to give up anything. We always want to play well, to win and to succeed, although not every day it is possible. The team has fought very hard and I'm sure if we continue this approach we will close the gap on Real Madrid."
