Celtic manager Neil Lennon does not necessarily believe his sides superb 2-1 result over Barcelona last night gives them the right to move through to the next phase of the Champions League.
The Scottish champions got the better of the Catalan powerhouse at Parkhead thanks to goals from Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt before Lionel Messi grabbed one back late which sees them sitting second on the Group G table on seven points, two behind last night's opponents.
Sitting in third position on four points is Celtic's next test, Benfica, who they meet in Portugal on November 20 before a home fixture against bottom-of-the-table Spartak Moscow who have recorded three points.
Despite the enormity of the Barcelona win, Lennon knows better than to predict whether or not his team will get through to the next stage, rather allowing his players to enjoy the moment which coincides with the 125th anniversary of the Glasgow giants.
"We have a chance, that's all it has given us. A greater chance than maybe we expected before the game," said Lennon.
"But we still have two very tough games.
"The problem is the players and staff will have to deal with is that the expectation level will increase.
"There is still a lot of work to do but we have given ourselves a platform.
"But that's for the future, I want the players to enjoy the moment and take it all in."
