Barcelona are prepared to up their bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

Cesc's father entered the transfer row yesterday, urging Arsenal not to block his son's dream return home to Barca.

The Daily Mail says Barcelona will not be matching Arsenal's £80million asking price for Fabregas although they are prepared to go beyond their initial £30m valuation by a further £8m.
