Barcelona are keen on Villarreal midfielder Borja Valero.
Barca are already in talks with Villarreal for striker Giuseppe Rossi and have also asked for Valero's asking price.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has revived his career at the Yellow Submarine after a difficult spell in England with West Bromwich Albion.
Valero's form this season has him on the fringes of a first Spain call-up.
